The birthday celebration and felicitation of Fr Fonseca, organised by Ornella's High School, was also attended by a large number of former teachers of the school. The school's Principal Fr Jovian D' Mello, Fr Lui Heredia and Vice-Principal Joe Vaz who spoke on the occasion recalled Fr Fonseca's contribution to the educational field and molding of thousands of students who studied under him.
