Fr Fernandes is new Provincial of Pune Jesuit province CAMIL PARKHE |  Sunday, 28 May 2017 AT 11:12 PM IST       goo.gl/3KAPss         Fr Andrew Fernandes ,  St. Vincent’s School ,  St. Xavier’s Church Pune:  Fr Andrew Fernandes (SJ), current Principal of St. Vincent’s School and parish priest of St. Xavier’s Church in Pune Camp, has been appointed as the provincial of Pune Province of the Society of Jesus or the Jesuits. The appointment was announced by Rome-based Jesuit Superior General Fr. Arturo Sosa on Sunday. The term of the provincial will be for six years. Fr Fernandes will replace Fr Bhausaheb Sansare, who has completed his term.
