The work of Pandita Ramabai is truly great. Women should be respected and honoured. They should be provided with equal opportunities in every field along with men. However, times have now changed. The situation has far improved from the times of Pt Ramabai. Now some of the the educated women are harassing men. The NGOs claiming to be working for women empowerment are instigating brides. As a result, family system in India is in danger. Families are breaking and court cases are on rise. While remembering Pt Ramabai, we must also think whether she intended all this.
